The BIKE. THE LEGEND.
When Edoardo Bianchi opened his first shop on
Via Nirone in Milan more than a century ago, his creative mind and
entrepreneurial skills filled the little shop with inventions, innovations,
new products and of course huge popular success.
This unique success has shaped the history of Bianchi, set in its genes
and forged its approach to road racing with genuine passion and sacrifice
to deliver the finest cycling products available worldwide.
Listed here are the bikes we have
on the shop floor today, but all 2007 model-year Bianchi bicycles
are available on a custom-order basis, and some earlier models are
available as well. We tailor the fit of each Bianchi we sell to the
specific rider, so you hit the road knowing that the bike beneath
you is uniquely yours.

High-grade Italian Carbon fiber bike for the sporting enthusiast.
Cycling means racing, speed and pleasure. For many, many
miles. The Coast to Coast project was born to meet all these demands. New geometries,
an easy and relaxed position in the saddle.
Comfort is enhanced by the new BAT (Bianchi Active Technology) which, thanks
to the positioning of the carbon fibres, decreases the vertical stiffness with
no side effect on the horizontal one. A complete range either for design or
materials.

| Perennial
favorite with messengers, commuters, and Zen Luddites.
Our
budget track bike has morphed into quite the versatile
machine, even though the design is much the same as it’s
always been. The Pista is first and foremost built for
the track, with a stout steel frame and correct geometry
(high bottom bracket, shallow fork offset). But the Pista
sees a lot of action away from the velodrome too, as a
fixed-gear trainer, an urban messenger “work bike,” and
an expression of personal style. Maybe you’ve seen
one out there—you can’t miss the Pista’s
two knockout colors.

| Good off-road "road
bike," also makes a good commuter.
The Axis’s
Easton UltraLite tubing is shaped to the same dimensions
as the Cross Concept frame, and carbon fork is identical,
giving you an impeccable foundation of a lightweight, efficient
ride for cyclocross racing. But why stop there? The Axis
can be more than one bike, if you are so inclined. It has
rack and fender eyelets, plus wide, low gearing, so you
can enjoy different kinds of excursions. After all, when
the ride is this inviting, you should be able to spend
more time on your bike. (One exception: You’ll spend
less time on the Axis in ’cross races, because you’ll
get to the finish line sooner.)

| This is our best-selling
road bike, a classic. Great handling, light wheels, durable
parts. Eleven sizes! Everyone gets a good fit!
When we created
the Eros some years ago as a sensible steel-framed triple-chainring
road bike, its stable, high-performance ride was a hit,
particularly with recreational century and charity riders.
Today’s Eros is the same as it ever was, only better.
The goodness starts with the Reynolds 631 frame (the same
foundation as on the Vigorelli and Imola), extends to the
carbon fork and Campagnolo components (including 30-speed
hill-taming gearing), and keeps rewarding you ride after
ride.

Same great handling
as the men's bike, but with female-specific geometry
and sizing.
Eros Donna is designed for shorter
women who want a closer reach to the handlebars. All
new geometry for 2006, in 44, 47 and 50cm frame sizes.
We've sized the components to be proportionate to the
frame, with 165mm cranks, narrow Deda 4 Girls handlebars
and 80mm and 90mm stems. All frame sizes have been road-tested
and given the enthusiastic thumbs-up by women who race
in Northern California. Women consistently tell us our
bikes ride better than anything they've tested. They
should; we've been making road bikes that fit everyone,
for 121 years.

Similar to Eros,
with lighter components. A really nice steel bike.
Veloce means fast
in Italian and with our popular Reynolds 631 frame and
Campagnolo's race-level 20-speed group, the Veloce lives
up to its name. Up-spec for 2006 is the Campagnolo Compact
crank with matching front and rear derailleurs, which
lightens up the drivetrain.
